The BeaverCraft SK5S Right Handed Spoon Carving Knife Deep Cut with Leather Sheath is a premium hook knife from BeaverCraft specially designed for efficient, deep hollowing in spoon, kuksa, bowl, and cup carving projects, with a long oak handle for excellent leverage and control in both one- and two-handed techniques.

The BeaverCraft SK5S features a deeply curved, double-beveled blade (sharpened on both sides for ambidextrous use, though optimized for right-handed carvers in many setups) made from high-carbon steel (often with precise heat treatment for toughness, edge retention, and easy sharpening). The blade measures approximately 2.17 inches (55 mm) long, providing powerful scooping action for smooth, progressive deep cuts in soft and hard woods alike. The extended oak wood handle (around 7.87 inches / 200 mm) is ergonomically shaped, oiled for a natural finish, and offers superior grip and reduced fatigue during extended carving sessions.

It includes a protective leather sheath with snap closure or belt loop compatibility for safe storage and transport—keeping your blade sharp and your hands safe when not in use. The full design emphasizes precision, safety (pliable steel reduces breakage risk), and versatility for beginners and experienced spoon carvers alike.

Total length is about 10.04 inches (255 mm), making it a balanced, substantial tool that's still comfortable for detailed work. Made in Europe (Ukraine) with BeaverCraft's signature quality craftsmanship—ideal for green woodworking, bushcraft, or artisan spoon-making.
